Stock Tip from an Engineer

With the economy on the frits, I thought it would be a good time for an undergrad with no money to give some needed financial advice. But first, let me explain a little about my own financial well-being.

The Peru trip has demanded a lot of my personal financial resources. (And for a college student, there are as many extra resources available as there are polka dots on a llama . . . . which is to say not many) But don't start to rate my economic judgment just yet. To be honest, I am glad I purchased my nonrefundable tickets before hearing news of the stock market downfall. If I had not, I might have been tempted to use my money like top CEO's of AIG or something.

But seriously, for the sake of local Peruvians, I am glad that I am not prone to this unnecessary fear. I have put my faith in a higher power and I am willing to do His work even if it means I lose all I have.

That last statement may come as a surprise and may sound a bit surreal coming from a simple college student. But the fact is this: I believe. So my stock tip of the day is to check the interest rate on your soul and double check what influences you mentally, physically, and even financially. . . . my advice is to invest in real life.
