Good News! The wave is underway. I have now begun to send fliers in regards to "Brighten Their Christmas" and most likely this is your first time to the blog after receiving one. If so, then I welcome you to the official blog dedicated to keeping all my family, friends, and supporters informed on news and updates involving the program. If you are new to blogs don't worry, as navigating the blog is simple. The layout of the blog is similar to that of a bulletin board where most recent posts are located at the top of the page and earlier posts are located below in chronological order. I encourage you to start at the bottom and work your way up but please feel free to read however you desire.
As the time gets closer to my departure the excitement continues to build. More and more details are being finalized every day. I plan to post my trip schedule in future posts so make sure to check the blog daily for those key updates and much more. Even though the details for the trip are constantly being adjusted, the overall goal is still the same: Help those who need it most.
For a personal update, I am thrilled at the positive response I have already received. I would just like to thank all of you whom have already expressed deep feelings and personal interests in the program "Brighten Their Christmas." It is important that those of us who have the same values and desires to help, continue to support each other however we can. I can only hope that this trip, being a success that I know it will be, will continue to spark new ideas and new programs aimed at helping others in need not just in Peru but also in the U.S. as well as the rest of the world.
